Here is an article I wrote about Women Artists. It is a short article, and I will write more on this subject as I achieve my education!

I am one of the editors, now, of a blog called "Fleurbain". Besides being a website, Fleurbain will also become a brick-and-mortar place. This place will be an Herbal Dispensary, an Art Gallery, and workshop space. I will paint there, and my friend will practice Herbalism there. Over time, I will gain my degree in Art Therapy, so that I can practice that in this space, as well! But, for now, why not check out Fleurbain.com?

***UPDATE: It IS a brick-and-mortar place! We are leading workshops, I am curating a gallery, we are organising events... and it is a great space. Come check us out: 460 St Catherine West, Unit 917.***

Well, it's all in my blog. However, that is, admitedly, a little long-winded and painful at times, I know. So. Here is a nutshell:

I am now freelance/self-employed.

I make wool felt scarves, and am thinking of other weird things to make, and sell them on-line. Maybe I'll hit up some little boutiques in Montreal by next year, too.

I am working on finishing up a book of "Cluck and Lurt" cartoons, to self-publish... and working on another "a-little-bit-under-wraps" cartoon with a writer, that we are shooting to have published by the end of this year...

I am still digitizing embroidery free-lance. That is my best source of income.

I have a loft/studio that is more of a little, posh factory than a home. Just it has a bed and kitchenette...

I will be in a group exhibition "Alternate Identities" this Spring at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Port Coquitlam. I am really excited about this!!! I love exhibiting.

OK. I guess that's it... also please check the "links" page here and see my DeviantArt and Etsy links... new and exciting things!!! Thanks for reading and looking.

Yeah, still here, and plugging away at Life! Once again, do check out my blog. It goes all the way back to before my move to Montreal this last summer. But for now, I am painting, and I am also working in the fashion industry. I am learning lots of things at the place I work... I don't think it ties directly into the painting... however one never knows what will influence one's work someday. I like to let things stew...

Here I sit at the computer, in my 5.5 apartment in Montreal. The "5.5" means 5 rooms plus a bathroom. So that means I have lots of space for my in-apartment studio, and also room for out-of-town guests and storage of art.
Things are good.
Pretty soon I will be enrolling in french classes so that I will be capable of communicating more effectively with everyone. Tonight is actually the first night I will be able to paint in my new studio, and I am terribly excited. I hope to get some new work up on this site soon!
